Are bad calls supposed to stand against them just because they're the Patriots? Close calls, look like good calls live, but when you apply the rule book AND have slow motion high definition replays from multiple angles, things change.
James didn't retain possession through the process of hitting the ground last week. Yesterday one angle showed Benjamin's left foot never touched AFTER he gained possession of the ball which was when he pulled it to his body. He did not have possession when it first touched his hands which is when his left foot was on the ground.
We're talking about an inch, something you'll never see live, but as long as we have replays 1/4 of an inch and / or fractional seconds matter
